तमिल शब्द ‘अरट्टई’ (அரட்டை arattai) में संस्कृत शब्द ‘वार्ता’ का डी.एन.ए. है!
An instant messaging app has become a viral sensation in India. It has similar features to WhatsApp and allows users to send messages and make voice and video calls. This gives it the potential to compete with WhatsApp. The app was developed by Zoho Corporation, based in Tamil Nadu, India. Zoho's founder, Mr Sridhar Vembu, named the app 'arattai' (அரட்டை). It is a Tamil word that means 'chat' or 'conversation.' The name is quite apt.
Today we will
examine the DNA of the word arattai (அரட்டை arattai).
Linguists
believe that Tamil and Sanskrit have no mutual connection. But my readers know
that I believe in the fundamental biological relationship of all languages.
Here, I present
possible mutations in the Sanskrit word vArtA वार्ता that
transformed it into the Tamil word arattai' (அரட்டை).
vArtA वार्ता [Sanskrit] = conversation [Hindi]
= chat, conversation [English]
> vArattA वारत्ता
> vArattA वारट्टा
> yArattA यारट्टा
> arattA आरट्टा
> arattai अरट्टई அரட்டை[Tamil] = chat, conversation
Now please tell
me, what do you think about this Sanskrit
DNA of 'arattai' (அரட்டை)?
